  1. Bollywood has responded to the challenge of keeping new productions secure. The Times Of India reports ‘Dishoom' is the first film to be submitted to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) in the DCP-KDM encrypted format. Previous submissions were on DVD but by using an encrypted Digital Cinema Package (DCP) it is possible to ensure that the media files can only be used by authorised parties. The permissions are managed by a separate Key Delivery Message (KDM) which contains the decryption keys. The DCP is encrypted with 128-bit AES-CBC.
